Wake Up About Being “Woke”

Americans need to wake up.

In an era when the word “woke” is injected into every corner of our lives, the irony is unmistakable. While everyone scrambles to appear woke, they’ve actually fallen asleep. It’s time for real Americans to open their eyes. We must take a hard, honest look at what’s happening in our country and stop ignoring the obvious signs that many within our own government, elected officials, are actively working to dismantle the United States of America. The writing is on the wall, and pretending it isn’t there won’t make it disappear.

I challenge every American, regardless of party or lack of affiliation, to examine the state of our nation. If you don’t see the coordinated assault on our founding ideals, it’s because you’re choosing not to. If you truly love this country and believe in the principles on which it was built, the time for complacency is over.

This is classic projection: accusing your opponents of the very crimes you yourself are committing in order to deflect attention. I’ve tried to stay as neutral as possible for as long as I could, but the evidence is now impossible to ignore. The Democratic Party has engaged in a sustained campaign of projection, and anyone who can’t see it are either  willfully blind or too ignorant to understand what is happening right in front of their eyes. We have devolved from a nation that once respected the Office into a cult of personalities. Plenty of people on the right despised Joe Biden and viewed his presidency as a disaster. Yet none of them tried to assassinate him. The right didn’t burn down entire cities or kill those with differing opinions. The same cannot be said for the other side. When you spend years whipping up hysterical rhetoric, what exactly do you think will happen?

Many in today’s Democratic Party appear to have genuinely diabolical intentions. They are not stupid, however. They are masters of manipulation. They know how to weaponize grievances, twist individuals into agents of their own destruction, and distract the public with manufactured outrage. While real crises mount, border security, economic stability, education, crime, we’re forced to argue about pronouns, bathrooms, and whether men should compete in women’s sports. The collective good has been sacrificed on the altar of every individual desire. If we continue down this path, society itself will collapse under the weight of endless infighting. The people pulling the strings understand this perfectly, which is exactly why they’re doing it.

If America doesn’t wake up soon, we will lose our country. This is not rhetoric or racism. It is observable reality. If you doubt the value of American freedom, go live in another country for six months. You’ll be begging to come home. And to those who immigrate here only to try to remake America in the image of the failing nation they left: why did you come? If your former country was so wonderful, why didn’t you stay? Many came because their own failing nation could not deliver what America has to offer.  They’re exploiting the generosity, ingenuity, and productivity of the greatest nation on earth.

The vast majority of the world’s transformative inventions, breakthroughs, and opportunities over the last century originated in the United States. Opportunity here is real, even for those whose ancestors were enslaved just a few generations ago. The fact that the overwhelming majority of Black millionaires on the planet live in America should settle the “systemic racism” argument once and for all. This is not a racist country. It is a country of opportunity. If people refuse to seize it, that is on them, not their skin color. And if activists truly cared about slavery, they would be fighting the current slave trade happening around the world instead of exploiting past suffering for political and financial gain. At some point, individuals must stop using history as an excuse and start building their own future.

We also don’t need to import more criminals. “But we already have criminals here” is not a serious argument. Why on earth would we want more thieves, rapists, and murderers? It defies basic logic. Americans must demand respect for institutions like the Presidency itself, not just the person occupying the office. If Donald Trump’s agenda was truly as disastrous as critics claim, why not let him try and fail? Why the endless roadblocks, lawfare, and sabotage? Because they know success would expose how destructive their own policies have been and how many of those policies are fundamentally un-American.

Democrats claim compassion while funneling taxpayer money that never reaches the people they profess to help. Problems keep getting worse despite record spending because they’re fighting fire with gasoline. Veterans sleep on the streets, children are trafficked, illegal immigrants commit horrific crimes against Americans, our debt is exploding, schools are failing, and drug deaths are at record highs. Yet their biggest priorities often seem to be gender fluidity, men in women’s bathrooms and sports, and silencing dissent.

Give me a break. Gender ideology isn’t liberation. It’s a tool smart people use to control less discerning ones. Much of its foundational thinking traces back to disturbing origins involving the documented sexualization of children. If you support it without examining that history, you are part of the problem. The “woke” phase was never going to fade on its own. I overestimated the number of sensible people in this country. Too many have traded critical thinking for slogans. If you love America, it’s time to wake up before everything we hold sacred is gone and cannot be recovered. Those who find this country so intolerable are free to leave and chase their utopian fantasies elsewhere. They won’t find them. The only reason they can spout their anti-American rhetoric is because they live in America, something they’re apparently too blinded to recognize.

I’m sick of the idiocy. This isn’t mere foolishness anymore. It’s self-destructive insanity. The productive, clear-thinking people of this nation have tolerated it long enough. If this reckless ideology continues it is very possible that all the work that has gone into creating a country over the past two-hundred fifty years will be for not. Can you imagine that the downfall of the greatest country in the history of the world would come at the hands of a small group of people who are confused about pronouns?

As a society, if we don’t collectively wake up about “woke”, this great country may be put to sleep forever.
