AcrossVoices welcomes article submissions that fit our Mission, which is to encourage thoughtful discussion by bringing together different perspectives in a shared space where ideas can be explored, challenged, and understood through open and respectful dialogue.
We welcome submissions from anywhere in the world as long as the information is relevant to Americans, is true, well written and in English.
Please email articles to info (at) acrossvoices.com with “Article Submission for AcrossVoices” as the Subject of the email.
When your article has been accepted, submit your articles digitally in a text format that can be opened on a PC. Please submit a least one high resolution photo in JPEG format to go with your article.
ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS
AcrossVoices is an internet publication and we do not have submission date restrictions. You can submit articles at any time. New articles will be released as quickly as possible. We ask that, when possible, articles be kept between 800-1000 words so as not to lose the interest of the reader.

SUBMISSION METHODS
The preferred submission method for articles, photos, and artwork is by email using the address info (at) acrossvoices.com.
ARTICLE FORMATS
Please submit articles in one of the following formats:
- Microsoft Word for Windows (.doc)
- Rich Text Format (.rtf)
- Plain Text (.txt)
Along with a Word document, a PDF file of the complete article can be added for download or if the main article is too long to publish. A portion of the PDF file (about 300+ words) will be used as the intro to the PDF and then the PDF will be added to complete the article.
Please send photos, images and artwork separately as attachments to your email, even if they are also embedded in your article. Please be sure to mark the placement of photos in your article if images are not embedded to show placement.
We do not accept submissions in Microsoft Works format or any other obscure word processing formats. Save your documents as Rich Text Format (.rtf), and attach any photos and artwork to the email. Do not embed artwork in the document itself.
Please make sure all links in your article open in a new tab if they link to other websites or documents not on AcrossVoices.
PHOTOS, IMAGES AND ARTWORK FORMATS
Photos may be submitted in the following formats:
- JPEG (.jpeg or .jpg
- PNG (.png)
- GIF (.gif ) if black and white or grayscale
Photos for inclusion with articles should be scanned in color whenever possible at a minimum resolution of 96 DPI (dots per inch). The maximum dimensions for Featured Images are 1200×675 but 1024x 576 pixels will work. We reserve the right to edit or resample artwork to meet our requirements. Please submit a caption for every photo and the source. Also provide placement information so we know where you want your photo in the article.
Logos and artwork may be submitted in the following formats:
- GIF (.gif)
- JPEG (.jpeg / .jpg)
- PNG (.png)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please submit the following information with your first article:
- Please provide an author headshot photo which will be edited to 600×600 pixels.
- Please provide a 150 or 160 character (about 23 words) short author biography, a 250 to 500 characters (about 37-70 words) bio for your author archive.
- Please provide your all Social Media links and the email address you wish to use for your author bio. This email will not be made public.
Please submit the following information with your articles:
- Appropriate Logo(s) where necessary
- Links to websites related to your submission. All links in your articles should open in a new tab!!!
- Meta Description/Excerpt of 150 characters or 25 words.
- Keywords to promote your site in the search engines
AcrossVoices reserves the right to reject any submitted articles, photos or artwork that don’t meet our submission guidelines or fit our Mission.
